It was a wonderful day as the Nigeria Spelling Bee team was in Oke-Aro, Ogun State to present the African Spelling Bee trophy (replica) to Eniola Grace Idowu of Montclair College who emerged best 2nd in the Junior category of the 2019 African Spelling Bee in Uganda.
Plateau State Level Qualifiers: Host: Kings & Queens Academy Jos. These spellers will represent the state at the North-Central Regional level to compete for the National Finals slot where they stand to win #1,000,000 scholarship (Snr) or #500,000 cumulative scholarship (Jnr) among other prizes for runners-up.
Kano State Qualifiers marks the first competition in the 2020 season. The below-listed spellers have qualified to represent the state at the North-West regional competition alongside other top spellers that are yet to emerge from the other 6 North-Western states of the federation.
Nigeria Spelling Bee has successfully defended its title as the "Best Spelling Bee Country Team" at the just concluded African Spelling Bee in Uganda held on the 21st of October 2019...
Odutola Dolapo of Montclair College, Ogun State has emerged the Senior National Champion of the 2019 Season of Nigeria Spelling Bee. In the same vein, Grace Idowu also of Montclair College is the Junior Champion of the national literary competition. These Spellers have won for themselves a #1,000,000 scholarship and a #100,000 cash prize for the Senior and Junior Champions respectively.Declaring the competition open, the Founder of Ritman University, Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Ibok Essien declared 50% tuition scholarships to the Champions in both categories in addition to the Nigeria Spelling Bee prizes.
Spellers from the seven northwestern states of Nigeria converged in Kaduna - the Centre of Learning - for the Regional Level Competition of the Nigeria Spelling Bee.Some a few rounds of showcasing their spelling prowess, we are proud to present the top Spellers from the region who will progress to the National Finals scheduled for the 24th-27th July. Spellers from the six North-Central states and the Federal Capital Territory converged today in Abuja to slog it out for a chance to pick a National Finalist slot to represent the region at the National Finals of Nigeria Spelling Bee. After multiple rounds of contests, including a written 1st round, the below-listed students emerged as the best in the region.
