The 2026 Nigeria Spelling Bee State-Level Competitions continued in outstanding fashion as Enugu State hosted its qualifier on February 12th at Holy Rosary College, Uwani, Enugu.
The event brought together exceptional young spellers from across the state in a true battle of words. With confidence, composure, and impressive mastery of words, participants competed for the honour of representing Enugu State at the National Finals.
At the National Finals, spellers will compete for up to ₦1,000,000 in prizes, along with exciting scholarships and cash rewards for both spellers and their coaches.
Beyond the national stage, all National Finalists will have the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the African Spelling Bee, competing against the brightest spellers across the continent.
In fact, last season’s Nigerian champions will be travelling to Zimbabwe from 18th to 21st March 2026 to represent Nigeria at the 2026 African Spelling Bee. 🇳🇬🌍
