The excitement of the 2026 Nigeria Spelling Bee State-Level Competitions continued as Kwara State hosted its qualifier on March 5th at Chaste Intellect International School, Ilorin.
The contest brought together talented young spellers from across the state in a thrilling battle of champions. With impressive spelling mastery, composure, and confidence on stage, participants competed for the prestigious opportunity to represent Kwara State at the National Finals.
At the National Finals, spellers will compete for up to ₦1,000,000 in prizes, alongside exciting scholarships and cash rewards for both spellers and their coaches.
Beyond the national stage, all National Finalists will also have the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the African Spelling Bee, competing with the best young spellers from across the continent.
As anticipation builds, last season’s Nigerian champions will be travelling to Zimbabwe from 18th to 21st March 2026 to represent Nigeria at the 2026 African Spelling Bee. 🇳🇬🌍
