The 2026 Nigeria Spelling Bee State-Level Competitions continued with remarkable brilliance as Anambra State hosted its qualifiers on February 13th (Primary & Junior Categories) and February 14th (Senior Category) at St. Albert The Great Secondary School, Obosi.
Across the two exciting days, young spellers demonstrated outstanding skill, confidence, and composure in what was truly another battle of champions. Schools and independent participants competed fiercely for the honour of representing Anambra State at the National Finals.
At the National Finals, spellers will compete for up to ₦1,000,000 in prizes, alongside exciting scholarships and cash rewards for both spellers and their coaches.
Beyond the national stage, all National Finalists will also have the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the African Spelling Bee, competing with the best young spellers from across Africa.
As anticipation builds, last season’s Nigerian champions will be travelling to Zimbabwe from 18th to 21st March 2026 to represent Nigeria at the 2026 African Spelling Bee. 🇳🇬🌍
