The 2026 Nigeria Spelling Bee State-Level Competitions continued with great excitement as Ekiti State hosted its qualifier on March 6th at Divine Touch International School, Ado-Ekiti.
The competition brought together brilliant young spellers from across the state in what proved to be another thrilling battle of champions. With confidence, determination, and impressive mastery of words, participants competed for the prestigious opportunity to represent Ekiti State at the National Finals.
At the National Finals, spellers will compete for up to ₦1,000,000 in prizes, alongside exciting scholarships and cash rewards for both spellers and their coaches.
Beyond the national stage, all National Finalists will have the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the African Spelling Bee, where they will compete with the brightest young spellers from across the continent.
As excitement builds toward the continental stage, last season’s Nigerian champions will be travelling to Zimbabwe from 18th to 21st March 2026 to represent Nigeria at the 2026 African Spelling Bee. 🇳🇬🌍
