The 2026 Nigeria Spelling Bee State-Level Competitions continued in grand style as Ebonyi State hosted its qualifier on February 11th at Comprehensive School of Management and Technology (CSMT) Staff Secondary School, Enugu.
The competition brought together determined and highly talented spellers in an inspiring display of brilliance, confidence, and composure. It was yet another battle of champions, as participants competed for the prestigious opportunity to represent Ebonyi State at the National Finals.
At the National Finals, spellers will compete for up to ₦1,000,000 in prizes, alongside exciting scholarships and cash rewards for both spellers and their coaches.
Beyond the national stage, all National Finalists will have the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the African Spelling Bee, competing against the best young minds across the continent.
As anticipation builds, it is worth noting that last season’s Nigerian champions will be travelling to Zimbabwe from 18th to 21st March 2026 to represent Nigeria at the 2026 African Spelling Bee. 🇳🇬🌍
