The “State of Harmony” -Kawara- has produced its Best State Spellers at the Nigeria Spelling Bee Kwara State Level contest.
The competition was conducted on the 4th of June 2022 at Deeper Life High School, Ilorin Campus, which played host to the statewide contest.
At the conclusion of the day’s contest, Adedayo John Oluwasola of Deeper Life High School, Ilorin Campus emerged as the Best Junior Speller while Ayorinde Olurunkare Efuronsibina of OKC International College clinched the Best Senior Speller slot.
These spellers will progress to represent the state at the National Finals of the Nigeria Spelling Bee slated for the 3rd-7th of August 2022 at Divine Rays British Schools Obosi-Onitsha, where they stand a chance to win up to N1,000,000 / N500,000 scholarships for Senior and Junior categories respectively.
National Finalists also have an opportunity to represent Nigeria at the African Spelling Bee continental competition in Malawi.
